June 1914 (AAMC.2) A Wizard Stone postcard with short manuscript message dated "18/5/14", well in time for the first proposed date for the flight, May 23rd. Unusually, although postmarked in Sydney on August 24th, the 1d Kangaroo is tied by a circular date stamp of that date. Two vertical creases.

Nov.1919 - Feb.1920 (AAMC.27a) Singapore - Australia flown cover bearing the Ross Smith vignette and barely tied by one of 2 strikes of the oval "FIRST AERIAL MAIL" handstamp. Addressed to MRS W. G. Farquhar c/o Dr MacMaster Sydney, this is cover R.S.99 from the AAMC listing and its exsistence is now confirmed. With original letter headed "Raffles Singapore"and stating "Captain Ross Smith reached here yesterday on his way to Australia and is going to post this for me." and "...and of course we shook hands with him vigorously". Both the cover and vignette have been torn and repaired, nevertheless a significant cover.
