½d Green + 1d Red attractively tied by MORNINGSIDE QUEENSLAND cds's on Oct.1915 RP postcard (Wickham Terrace) to Haarlem, HOLLAND; with circular PASSED BY CENSOR BRISBANE cds in red.
12 Nov.1918 usage of 1d Red and 1d Red bisect on OHMS Education Dept. cover from Watchem to Melbourne. Because of the imposition of the War Tax on 28th October 1918 the standard letter rate was increased from 1d to 1½d. The bisect being added because of a shortage of ½d stamps. Taxed ½d handstamp. Very few bisect covers were taxed. Faults but an attractive and rare cover.
Dec.1915 usage of 1d Red, tied by "SHIP ROOM WESTERN AUSTRALIA" cds on censored RP postcard ("St.George's Terrace") from Perth to U.S.A. with boxed "PASSED BY/CENSOR" in violet. [Correct rate before imposition of War Tax].

Minor faults hardly detract from this remarkable commercial cover.
1½d Blue-Green, used single showing a superb "Cracked Electro" variety [BW.88(17)m]. One of the more spectacular flaws, starting at the right margin, below the emu's feet and extending all the way across the stamp to the kangaroo.
4d Violet, marginal block (2**,2*), one unit with small coloured flaw on emu's back and another with small white flaw in king's hair. Very well centred. (4)
1½d Red, inter-pane block with Harrison imprint, N over MP setting without stop, Electro 23; BW.89za. Unusually, the block shows an extra row of horizontal perforation in the lower margin. (12)
